When it comes to the United States and UK, Bollywood films always triumph. But for a change, this time Jiiva's Ko, directed by K.V. Anand, got a super opening at the US box office. The film collected $ 70,400 on 11 venues [early estimates], with an average of $ 6,400 per screen.
"Thank u all for your whooping support for Ko. All your appreciations gone to my heart. All my mistakes, slips u pinpointed gone to my mind," an overwhelmed Anand tweeted.
In UK, the film released in almost 15 centres, beating Shah Rukh Khan's My Name Is Khan, which released in 10 centres.
