Lauren ConradHollywood star Lauren Conrad's plans to try out the fashion world have been stalled. "The Hills" actress has canned her upcoming collection due to the global credit crunch. Lauren personality launched her clothing line, The Lauren Conrad Collection, in 2007 following her success on the hit MTV show. But her line soon hit trouble after celebrity favorite store Kitson in Hollywood dropped it when the star's designs failed to catch on with shoppers. Now, Conrad has pulled all plans to launch a spring/summer line, and has put her designs on hold for the immediate future. Her representative tells New York gossip column Page Six, "With everything going on in the economy and in her life, she wants to rework her line and offerings. She will make announcements soon."
