She tells Vanity Fair magazine, "I haven't done anything, but who knows. Andrew said he'd divorce me if I did anything.When you've had children, your body changes; there's history to it. I like the evolution of that history; I'm fortunate to be with somebody who likes the evolution of that history." But Upton hasn't fully put Blanchett off the idea: "I'm not a spokesperson against the world of injectables. And now the 4-year-old girl's grandfather has allegedly confirmed the exchange will occur early next year. The family member tells Star magazine, "It breaks our hearts to know she will leave us, but adoption is best for her." James' mother Mwandida died at 18 just days after giving birth to her daughter. Madonna and Ritchie's split was announced in October, ending months of media speculation. The superstar filed for divorce citing Ritchie's "unreasonable behavior" and was granted a preliminary split on November 21st.

Rapper Kanye West has already made his New Year's Eve resolution. The singer has promised to make peace with the paparazzi. West has been arrested on two different occasions after clashing with the celebrity snappers. Police in Newcastle, England, detained Kanye last month after he was accused of pushing a camera into a photographers face. He was then released without charges. West and his assistant were also arrested over a similar incident at Los Angeles' LAX airport in September. The pair was charged with felony vandalism after reportedly smashing a snapper's camera, but the charges were later dropped by the Los Angeles California County District Attorney's office. And the rapper is adamant that in 2009 he will make more of an effort to be pleasant to photographers. He tells, "I love you guys. That's my New Year's resolution. Me and the paparazzi."

An "American Idol" producer is denying media reports that Paula Abdul is going to leave the hit television show, and is insisting she is an "integral part" of the contest. Abdul has been surrounded in controversy after a crazed fan committed suicide outside her California home last month. She claimed the producers failed to keep Paula Goodspeed away and let her audition on three separate occasions, knowing she had stalked the star for over 17 years. Bosses denied knowing Godspeed was a threat and rumors surfaced that Abdul would be leaving the hit show very soon. But producer Ken Warwick has flatly denied the reports, insisting the judge is "worth her weight in gold." He tells, "America loves Paula. She's an integral part of this program. "There's never been any discussion that we would want to get rid of Paula. Never have I been faced with anyone saying Paula's got to go. She's one of the foundation blocks of this series. She keeps Simon well in control, which is worth its weight in gold." And Warwick is insisting he had no idea Goodspeed had a bad problem with Abdul, and if he had he would not have let her come face-to-face with the judge. He adds, "I was in the room there and I can absolutely put my hand on my heart and say I didn't know. I didn't even know that this person was a risk or termed as a stalker. I knew she was a fan, an ardent fan. But that's the only thing that came in front of me. "I would definitely not put a dangerous person or a person remotely dangerous in front of the judges. You wouldn't take that risk." He also admits Abdul "may have mentioned it to a security man or another junior producer." But, "if the inference is that I would put someone in there because it would make good television -- she certainly didn't mention it to me. She certainly didn't mention it to anybody with clout."

Guy Ritchie fears his that his ex-wife Madonna will break their custody agreement and keep the former couple's children in America with her, according to the director's dad. Richie and Madonna finalized their divorce last month, and are said to have decided to share custody of their 8-year-old son Rocco and 3-year-old David Banda, with the kids splitting their time between New York City and London. Madonna's 12-year-old daughter, Lourdes, from a previous relationship, will remain in the U.S. with her mother. The children are currently accompanying Madonna on the Latin American leg of her Sticky and Sweet world tour, while Ritchie works on his new "Sherlock Holmes" movie in Britain. But Ritchie's father, John, admits the star is worried his ex-wife will renege on the custody deal. John Ritchie tells British magazine Closer, "The children are with Madonna at the moment. Our worry is that she won't send them back and Guy hopes she won't keep them."

Streisand was greeted by Bush for a reception before a tribute concert at the Kennedy Performing Arts Center over the weekend. Accepting the prestigious honor, she said, "Art transcends politics this weekend." Later asked if she would have preferred President-elect Barack Obama as the host of the event, she told reporters, "That would have been lovely ... or (former President, Bill) Clinton."Other recipients recognized at the 31st annual ceremonies included actor Morgan Freeman, The Who stars Pete Townshend and Roger Daltrey, country singer George Jones and dancer/choreographer Twyla Tharp. The awards show will air on December 30th.


Rock star Scott Weiland is brushing off rumors that he has gone back to booze after he reportedly showed up intoxicated at a recent New York City concert. In May Weiland was handed a court order to attend an 18-month alcohol rehab program, stemming from his 2007 arrest for driving under the influence. According to a source at the New York Daily News, the rocker was allegedly "hitting the hard stuff backstage and was noticeably messed up" during his solo gig at the Fillmore-Irving Plaza on Friday. The source adds, "He was over an hour late to take the stage, and audience members were commenting on how drunk and sloppy he seemed.
"It didn't help that the crowd was booing him and shouting at him to play his Stone Temple Pilots." A spokesperson for Weiland has denied the claims and has not issued further comment.

The very obsessed fan who committed suicide outside Paula Abdul's mansion last month stalked the American Idol star for almost 17 years. Paula Goodspeed took a suspected drug overdose in her car outside the gates of Abdul's Sherman Oaks, Calif., estate on November 11th. Paula reveals her tragic death ended an almost two decades long campaign that developed into a fearful obsession when Abdul landed a job on the hit television talent show in 2002. Speaking on "The View" today, the 45-year-old pop star says, "She has been a stalker/fan for about 17 years now. It wasn't until 'American Idol' that she ever knew how she could get to me. Prior to that it was all through a fan club. "Because of 'American Idol,' I've been an open target to be followed home. So the last five years have been a little tough for me." In a separate interview the singer confirms rumors she has been too scared to return to the home, which she is now selling.
Abdul told, "I've been staying in different homes and hotels, and I have security with me."


Sexy reality show star Kim Kardashian wants Playboy boss Hugh Hefner to ignore reports she'll never pose nude in his magazine again, because she'd love to strip for him again.The actress peeled off for a special 12-page pictorial in December 2007, but has since been quoted stating the photo shoot was a one off. However, Kim is desperate not to burn bridges between herself and Hugh Hefner, and wants him to keep her phone number for another picture spread in the future. In a message on her Web site, Kardashian writes, "There are a bunch of reports about me on the web claiming that I said I would never do Playboy again. They're quoting me as saying, 'It was a one-off. I don't think I'll do Playboy or anything like that again.' This is totally false. While I'm not planning to pose for the men's magazine in the immediate future, I definitely don't want to close the door to the opportunity. Never say never."

Natalie Cole

Singing star Natalie Cole is very grateful she made it to the end of the year, after a summer of poor health left her fearing the worst. Cole was diagnosed with liver disease hepatitis C in February, and, by the summer she could hardly move.Natalie is admitting that walking from the bedroom to the kitchen was "an act of Congress", and worse was to come. Shortly before Cole was rushed to hospital in New York City after suffering kidney failure, she was a mess. She reveals, "I was in a wheelchair because my legs got very feeble. I was very fragile. I could not lift my head off the pillow… I was just falling apart." Following the health scare in September ,Cole has to undergo dialysis three times a week, and she has been forced to cut back on her promotional commitments.Cole says, "I have never really taken the time to rest and it really is ridiculous. When you’re sick, you need to sit down and take care of yourself."

Little Gary Coleman has pleaded no contest to disorderly conduct after attacking a photographer outside a Utah bowling alley.The former Different Strokes actor was in court yesterday to face charges stemming from the incident, which took place earlier this year. He was fined. Coleman and his wife reportedly hit Colt Rushton with their vehicle in a Payson parking lot after he refused to stop taking cellphone snapshots of the couple.
