Rajinikanth's Rana, a period film, is said to be going on floor from the 3rd of October.
The film's shoot which was stopped due to Superstar’s health reasons, is all set to resume the shoot. The film which has music scored by AR Rahman has already composed 3 songs.
The film will have Deepika Padukone in thee lead. While two other actresses are also to be confirmed as Rajini is said to be playing three roles in the film, finalized cast of the film are Sonu Sood as its villain and Ganja Karuppu in a prominent role.
The film directed by KS Ravikuamr is a multi lingual big budget extravaganza and the movie is produced by Saundarya Ashwin's Ocher Studios and by Eros International.
