PETA HAS GEORGE CLOONEY SWEATING
The people for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) are sweating over a new idea to turn George Clooney's perspiration into a tofu flavor. PETA president Ingrid E. Newkirk has written to the Hollywood actor and asking him for his permission to market CloFu. The very crazy idea came about after Newkirk was offered a vial of handsome George's sweat, apparently taken from a gym towel he used during a recent trip to Washington, D.C. Not sure what to do with the sample, Newkirk took it to PETA's scientists, who assured her it could be scrumptious. In her letter to Clooney, the president writes, "The technology actually exists to take your perspiration and make it into George Clooney-flavored tofu. We could do that and give the tofu away. "Of course, your fans would swoon at the idea of eating CloFu, but what interests us most is that we would attract many people who don't try tofu because they worry that it would be bland or that they wouldn't know how to cook it. CloFu will help people be healthier and more environmentally friendly and will spare animals from being killed for the table."Taste expert Dr. Harry Lawless of Cornell University insists the idea is not as far-fetched as it sounds: "It is no different than making artificial chicken flavor for instant gravy." PETA spokeswoman Amanda Schinke says, "We believe CloFu would be delicious on its own or served over rice with a light soy sauce and sauteed collards, in a casserole with melted vegan cheese and olives, or perhaps pressed with vegan pesto in a panini." But Clooney's initial response isn't all that encouraging. In a statement through his representative, the star says, "As a mammal, I'm offended."

Witherspoon reveals she hit rock bottom after. She tells the April issue of Elle magazine, "(It was) very humiliating and very isolating. But, by the way, if it's not painful, maybe it wasn't the right decision to marry to begin with. Those are the appropriate emotions."When people get in your face and say, 'This will pass,' you think, 'Are they crazy?' I'm never gonna feel any better than I feel right this minute and nothing's ever gonna make sense again. And I still have moments where I'm like, 'Nothing's ever gonna make sense again.'" And Witherspoon, who shares daughter Ava and son Deacon with Phillippe, was determined not to blame her ex for the breakdown of their marriage. She adds, "It's a really easy thing to do, and I'm certainly guilty of it. (You have to) look at yourself and go, 'What part of this do I need to own? Which part of this is my responsibility?' And that's the painful work that you have to go through to hopefully get some real life knowledge out of it."
KANYE WEST DEFENDS CHRIS BROWN
Television producers have been forced to edit a new Kanye West documentary after the rapper allegedly ranted about Radiohead and defended singer Chris Brown during the filming. The rap star was especially candid while recording an episode of the VH1 show Storytellers, which features artists discussing the meaning behind their songs. He was said to have told the audience he was "hurt" when Radiohead member Thom Yorke supposedly snubbed him at this year’s Grammy's. West explained: "So when he (Yorke) performed at the Grammy's, I sat the f**k down." He is also alleged to have discussed Brown, referring to his alleged fight with Rihanna, asking the crowd: "Can’t we give Chris a break? I know I make mistakes in life." But the controversial remarks have been axed, with producers insisting there wasn’t enough time in the 90-minute show to broadcast all the rapper’s comments. Executive producer Bill Flanagan says, "A lot of the stories that Kanye told went long. I tried to get the essence of his comments."
